SUNDARBAN AREA- SOUTH 24 PARAGANAS
Novel Corona virus (COVID 19) has shaken the entire world. Every country in their own way is doing everything to break the chain, so that it doesn’t spread anymore to anyone. The Frontliners like Medical Practitioners, Sanitation Workers & Police Officers are working day & night by putting their lives on line to save others.
We at Sneh Foundation in association with the BTS ( Baikunthapur Tarun Sangha) have been successful in keeping our ongoing project “Old Age Support Programme†running, by distributing daily essentials to the senior citizens of the Sunderban area. We would like to thank the local authorities & department that helped us conduct the distribution while abiding by the norms of social distancing. The entire distribution took place door to door to avoid any sort of gathering.
Sneh Foundation on the other hand is even helping out poor & the daily wage earners, who lost their job due to the ongoing lockdown, by providing food and medicines in & around Kolkata.
